GENERAL DESCRIPTION

  • Provide instruction to Air Force Cyber students in classroom, lab, and/or weapon system simulator environments. 

DUTIES

  • Knowledge of general defensive cyber skills is required
  • In-depth knowledge in ONE of the following areas is required: Operating Systems (Linux or Windows), PowerShell, Scripting, Forensics or Packet Analysis
  • You will train as a student for 2 - 3 months in our existing cyber courses (Host Analysis, Network Analysis, Defensive Cyber Operations, etc)
  • You will go through Instructor Methodology Course for 2 weeks to learn how to teach according to the Community College of the Air Force
  • You will complete 3 Instructor Evaluations and 120 hours of supervised instruction
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in a related area is required
  • IAT/M Level II certification (Sec+ or equivalent) is required within 90 days of employment
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance/SCI required

  • Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to routinely climb / descend stairs.
  • On occasion must be able to lift 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows / knees, and reach above / below shoulders.
  • Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions
